JUMBO JET
...is the incarnation of a European band: a Greek lady on the vocals, an Italian bass player, a guitarist from Hungary and two Germans on guitar and drums who met a few years ago in Germany where they all live today.
In January 2004 they decided to quit all other priorities to concentrate fully on the thing they could do best: play very energetic live shows and create music that is unique as far as you can create unique music in days where everything seems to have happened before.
Without any recordings Jumbo Jet got invited by festivals all over Germany, Norway, Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic the following summer, just because of the rumour of being one of the best live bands around.
In October 2004 they released their debut album called Jumbo Jet which was recorded live in two days to capture the power of their live shows.
So far the mix of noisy guitar excess, interesting rhythms and beautiful melody lines as well as the unique voice has convinced critics and music fans that Jumbo Jet are way more than just the next big thing.
